Area and Height Limiter

The Whelics MkII is the latest generation of safe load systems for crane on wheel loader operations. This protection conforms to EN 13000 and protect the machine from overload. The Whelics safe load system is an area and height limiter for crane on wheel loader operations.

The security is operated and read out by means of a 7-inch touch-screen display. To this, the operator can continuously, the current load, reach, maximum load, and allowable reach readout. In addition, a choice can be made on the display among the different lifting programs for each attachment. If the driver does not have a competence certificate for cranes (required above 10 tonne / meter), then the security is adjusted accordingly.

The stainless steel angle data transmitters, mounted on the lifting frame, and quick-change, over the CAN bus are connected to each other. In the cylinders are hydraulic pressure sensors placed. When use is made of a telescopic mast, a length encoder is also placed. The system can be calculated precisely in this way the reach and hook load.

The Whelics system is completely, including hydraulic adjustment, built by us.

Hose rupture monitoring

In conjunction with the Whelics is always an electronic hose rupture protection (ESVB12) positioned to prevent unintentional movement due to long break. This patented system is set by Nijhuis Engineering on all load-bearing sides of the cylinders. Protection work occurs during excavation. Since the valves are always fully open or fully closed as a user you do not notice any impedance of the operation. The load compensation continues to operate unchanged.
