Heighlics – Height Limiter Safety System
This multipurpose height limiter safety system is easy to use and can prevent damage to the machine, environment and personnel. The heighlics height limiter safety system calculates the height using specially developed earth mover corner givers. The angle sensors are randomly (in a safe place) placed on different boom parts of the machine.
Engagement of the height limiter safety system is simple for the operator via the touch screen display. The maximum working height can be set by the operator and is to be read in conjunction with the current level in the initial screen. The system continuously calculates the actual height of the tallest boom part. When reaching the preset maximum height by an arbitrary boom part, the height-extension movements are hydraulically switched off automatically. All other extension movement continues to work. Each boom part of the heighlics height limiter safety system is calculated separately, it is possible to maximize the work area.
Various attachment can be tuned in the heighlics height limiter safety system. Each attachment has taken into account a safety radius so that the maximum operating range for each tool may be utilised.
